The best nature play program to support your child's development prior to entering school or to supplement your home-schooling. Playing week after week with the same group of kids results in tremendous growth with social emotional skills, gross motor and strength, confidence, resilience, and nature connection.

Little Ones FORESTplay 

4 sessions a year, ten - thirteen weeks each session. 2025 Dates;

January 10 - March 28, April 5 - June 7, June 14 - Aug 30, Sept 6 - Nov 8. 

Ages birth to 3yrs with parent or caregiver

FORESTplay for our little ones! This play group is 2 hours with story time, song and dance, natural sensory experiences, and time for free play exploration and socialization. These sessions require a parent or caregiver to attend and play with their child with guided support from a trained Forest Guide.

Where inquiry-based teaching and learning ignites intrigue for a student to seek knowledge.


Created for the early learner aged 5-8 who is ready to be part of a kind and caring learning community and wants to dive deeper into learning yet still enjoy child-centered play and nature engagement. Our groups are multi-aged and incorporate children of the emergent literacy stage, starting to get curious about letters, sounds, and how they work together to create written language to those who are readers and more proficient in their learning.  This program is aligned with the Maryland Early Learning Standards, especially social foundations, science, physical education, early math and literacy learning domains.
